Meet Crochet Barrel

We met him first in Nightmare Before Christmas as one of the evil little henchmen of the Mr. Oggie Boogie man. See him now as you've never seen him before-crocheted!

When I got this order I knew that it was going to be a challenge. I looked at the picture included with the requested and knew I had to try it.
I created the pattern and worked for hours on his mask and hair. I even made him a lollipop. :)

He may very well be the only crochet Barrel out there. I did a google search and couldn't find anything like him. :) It's good to know I've made something truly unique.

I listened to "kidnap the sandy claus" for hours for inspiration.

One of my friends said it looked like "joker had a baby." To me that's a compliment. :D I didn't want him to look too cutsie.

I have another pattern style for him I want to try, but it will have to wait until after the holidays since I have so many orders. I really had fun creating his pattern though!

He just wants to hug you-don't you trust him? ;)

We spent so much time together-I can't believe he's off to his new home this weekend!

I recently got a special order asking if I could make Barrell from Nightmare Before Christmas. I'm in the process of coming up with a pattern for him. I can't wait to see how he turns out! By far the smallest of my mushroom creations the tiny poison mushroom stands only an inch tall. I can make these in 1up, super, and other mushroom varities.
For being so small this tiny guy has a lot of attitude!

These are two different styles/patterns I made.

This is my second pattern. I think he has the most attitude.

He's already found a home. They just don't last long.

Large Poison Mushroom

Perfect for any gamer this large mushroom makes a great gift.

Everything you see is hand crochet by me. I do not use felt on my creations.
