We met him first in Nightmare Before Christmas as one of the evil little henchmen of the Mr. Oggie Boogie man. See him now as you've never seen him before-crocheted!
When I got this order I knew that it was going to be a challenge. I looked at the picture included with the requested and knew I had to try it.
I created the pattern and worked for hours on his mask and hair. I even made him a lollipop. :)
He may very well be the only crochet Barrel out there. I did a google search and couldn't find anything like him. :) It's good to know I've made something truly unique.
I listened to "kidnap the sandy claus" for hours for inspiration.
One of my friends said it looked like "joker had a baby." To me that's a compliment. :D I didn't want him to look too cutsie.
I have another pattern style for him I want to try, but it will have to wait until after the holidays since I have so many orders. I really had fun creating his pattern though!
We spent so much time together-I can't believe he's off to his new home this weekend!
